E90 LCI Halogens to Bixenon

I have spent entire day looking for an answer but just simply could not find one that would answer my simple question in 100%.

Is it possible to do a straight upgrade from Halogens to bixenon in BMW E90 LCI?

If no, then what would not work after this swap?
Probably auto leveling but I am not bothered about this.
Would adaptive funcition work straight out of box or would I need to recode my footwell?
Would I get an error message about the bulb (wattage or voltage?)?

It is doable. There are threads on the forum. Many have done it. There will be some errors that need to be addressed with coding or additional parts. If you want to sell your lci halogens I am interested.

1. What about self-leveling function. Does it work ?

2. Did you modify the wiring to work with xenons headlights ?

3. Do you know what footwell module do you have in your car - FRM2 or FRM3 ?

Thanks for reply

It's not that simple. You need to rewire your front headlight installation.

Installing xenons lights in place of halogens also need coding the FRM module.

I sent you private message with some instructions...
