I don't think it will fit 08 E92 but I'm not 100% sure. This piece is for the newer iDrive controller if that helps. Thanks.

Those with older idrive can update with the newer controller. I updated my 07 e92 and it's plug-n-play! All functions work perfectly!

BTW, the MT and Auto trim is the same. So this would work for Manual Trans E92 as well!

Yes, I have the same piece on mine. I updated to latest iDrive controller.
