Fuel Injection Service

Took car in to BMW dealership for oil change (under maint. warranty) and they offered a fuel injection service which I was due for and which wasn't covered under the warranty though. Is this like using a Chevron Techron Fuel System Cleaner or is there more to it? As I understand you just drop this cleaner into your gas tank prior to filling up.
Thanks,

Buy Techron, get to almost empty, goto gas station and dump it in right before you pump gas in.

Read the packaging for how many gallons it treats. I just ran a bottle through mine, and it seems to have slightly smoothed my idle.

Thanks,
Tell them you have CPO and if they aren't tossing codes then they are fine. If they are tossing codes then change them all No need to injector service on direct injection injectors.

Fuel injection cleaning service is the biggest line of bullshit ever served up by a dealership.

Get Chevron Techron. Its the same thing BMW white labels and uses when they do a fuel injector cleaning. Run a bottle of it through tank yourself every 3k miles or so and your fine.
