WD-40 on paint?
Well my dumb self just knocked a can of WD-40 over in the garage and some of it splattered on the rocker panel of my E90 any suggestions of what to do to get it off? My paint is black sapphire metallic if that makes any difference? Thanks.

Wash the car. I've used WD-40 from time to time for sap and just wash it/clay/wax after.

WD-40 is a water displacement product. The first 39 versions failed...thus, 40. Many use it for a variety of reasons...one to remove tar from paint. Wash, clay, wax. I'm going to assume your car has a very nice coat of fresh wax, therefore, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Semper Fi |
