questing about offset and lug nuts!!!

Some people told me to change my lug nuts to the extended lug nuts since my offset changed, and some people told me not to. should i change them or is it safe to keep the oem lug nuts and ride the car as is?

My oem wheel spec:
Front: 18x8 ET34 225/40 R18
Rear: 18x8.5 ET37 255/35 R18

My current wheel spec:
front: 225/35/19 they are 8.5 ET: 12
rear: 235/35/19 they are 9.5 ET: 17

If youre not gonna swap out spacers/wheels all the time then theres no need. If its fine now then just leave it unless you want better looking nuts.

The only time you will need extended lugs would be if you were adding a spacer. Changing the offset would not require you to do this since the thickness of the portion the stud/bolt goes through would remain roughly the same. The offset will just determine how far in or out the wheel will sit in relation to the hub.

thanks for the help, now i dont have to waste money on extended lug nuts, and can spend that on other mods

No problem! Just remember though that if in the future you wanted to add spacers to get the extended bolts or studs.
