If it's a 3 year or 36,000 mile service pack you can expect between 18k and 20k between services. If you do high mileage it's not a problem but if you do about 10k to 12k miles per year if the service indicator is still showing, say, 2,000 miles to next service once the 36 months is up, you aren't guaranteed that 2nd service except as a goodwill gesture from BMW because they go by the condition based servicing indicator - so it could be an expensive service pack.

Knights BMW in Stoke-On-Trent...Huge dealership, largest in europe so i believe, pity the sales staff are pathetic, never return calls. I live just up the road from them but ended up traveling 100 miles to get one from stockport, much better...If you arn't a millionaire they don't really want to talk to you (Knights that is )

Berry & Rybrook

Just bought an AUC E92 335d from Rybrook Worcester (3 hour roundtrip from where I live!). Very pleasant experience - all about the car, nice and varied test drive route and nothing was too much in them prep'ing the car and sorting out snags.

Complete opposite to Berry Chiswick which is 5 miles from where I live. There, it was all about SMART insurance, GAP insurance, Tyre Insurance and selling BMW Select. Very little about the actual car, poor test route and generally an arrogant attitude. I just didn't WANT to spend £20K+ at such a place...

It's a shame Rybrook are too far away for servicing, etc - will be forced to use Berry or might just take it to an independent. Is there a similar thread about top specialist independents?

Bought my e92 335i m-sport from sytner in Cardiff. Found them spot on and Neil jones was an absolute star.

Also bought a few bits from dick Lovett in Bristol and found them also very good.

Unfortunately I cannot say the same about sytner in high Wycombe! Bought my Z4 coupe from them in December 2010 and not a good experience.

Bought mine from Dick Lovett in Bristol in Nov 2008, excellent service, no problems with the sale and part-ex. Salesman v knowledgeable and helpful.

Since then the car's been serviced by Trainers in Swansea - again very good experience.

Thanks for info about Sytners Cardiff.

My experience of Sytner Cardiff has been very mixed. My E46 320Cd was damaged by them 3 - yes three - times whilst in for service or warranty work. However, had my Alpina serviced there earlier this year, and they were very good...I wouldn't go quite as far as to say excellent.

Sytner Newport however is a very sorry tale. Avoid. Really bad experiences there and I will never return. Hence my reluctant (but thankfully successful, so far) return to Cardiff. Also had our Mini seviced at their Mini dealership...that was excellent.

Green Bower in Haverfordwest are OK, if a little slow in responding to customer requests for call backs/updates

Anyone had service from Westerley BMW in Dorchester? I'm debating on using either them or Wood in Salisbury (heard they were good).

Just purchased my third car from Westerly in Exeter (3181 msport plus Alpine White, perf stripes, nav etc). This time I dealt with Oli Follows who i would highly recommend. Great experience and I cannot fault the service from me wandering around the showroom, placing the order to taking delivery

Recently popped into hungerford BMW looking for a change, didn't find what I wanted but couldn't fault their business manager

Got a great deal on the car but the aftersales is woefull. The salesman takes forever to reply to an email (if at all), I ended up speaking to the service manager but it's got no better, such a shame it's soured what is the biggest car purchase I've ever bought. If I could get my deposit back I'd happily walk away and pay a bit more somewhere else.

For sales, very professional though perhaps a bit 'formal' in their business. They have two service centers, of which Stewarts Rd is the better and extremely competent. Owned by BMW GB directly.

Rybrook Worcester made me happy again!

MOT done today, passed no problem, so cost only £40.

Also they helped me out by putting on my new bonnet roundel and hub cap covers foc even though I mentioned I got them off ebay.

A common sense attitude and overall good service. Top stuff!

Just bought my 3rd BMW from the Dick Lovett Group - 1 x 120d SE new which I still have and the 325d SE which I've just bought, both from Bristol, and an E36 320d Touring from Swindon. I also bought my Porsche 911 from DL Swindon. It really is an excellent, family style business. Each time was a great experience and they have looked after me and the cars very well.

BMW Broad Oak Canterbury or Barrons Near Fleet

Hi I've just pocked up my 57 plate 335I but have been advised to get my injectors checked by BMW. Has anyone used BMW Broad Oak?

When they change the injectors do the update the softwear? If so will this make the pick up better?

Cheers

Brought my e70 x5 from Synter Coventry. Id never use synter again crap service delivered a 30k car to me with no rear wiper, sat nav not working and rear doorcards clips broke. They Had the car for 2 weeks (didnt even bother to confirm that it was delivered safely, didnt give me no update I had to keep on chasing them) and the sat nav is still not working, i know its the CCC but they just tried to fob me off by giving me the latest DVD. Giving the car to BMW Berry to sort. Synter Coventry bunch of cowboys!
