So Wedge will be coming up if we can get enough members interested in this TCU flash he will be charging $50 a car to pay for his gas and cables for driving up from Portland. Each flash takes about 15 minutes and is worth it. Lets agree on a good breakfast spot and time. Also we could probably carry the flashing on to the Golden Gardens as well.

I was thinking 10am @ southcenter behind cheesecake factory would be a decent premeet or we could meet at a starbucks around there instead.... But we could do the flash at the pre meet and carry the flashing over to Golden Gardens if need be.

I was talking to a guy in Florida we flashed a little over a week ago and he had a SCCA event this past weekend and was able to experience first hand how much better DTC is now with a track worthy transmission flash. I asked him to comment, so hopefully he'll step in and tell us first hand how the time keeper commented about how his car now makes the same noises through the corners at a Porsche 911 with stability control. Not that he was comparing a 335 to a 911, but the sound the car makes when DTC taps the breaks to make minor corrections. He said it wasn't pulling timing or closing the throttle body, but just tapping brakes to keep the car on the track. Which is very cool considering the DTC mode for a stock 335 sucks.

Ken, spot on, it was an Autocross.
I would never use DTC at the track but it was loose and cold (well for us 37degf) running a slightly scrubbed in set of R888's.

My last run was my fastest with DTC on, it's faster to react and less intrusive. It felt like I was cheating.

Wasn't my best track event but did finish top ten of all cars and second in my class by 3/10's of a second.
