Try doing a search
Search for dynavin there are a couple of good and long threads already.
The biggest thing to worry about is the side effects of removing your stock head unit as you loose any bmw add ons bmw sos , bluetooth , ipod, door alarms and the ability to do software updates to anything in the car.(that means the motor computer too) This is true of any head unit replacement in these cars, I think. Some people mount there original unit in the trunk and run a parallel system to avoid this issue. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=473430 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=dynavin Also it won't work with a logic 7 system unless you totaly bypass the logic 7 amp because the logic 7 uses a fiberoptic connection between the head unit and amp to support the multichannel surround sound, and the dynavin is standard analog IC amp out I think logic 7 was standard in the 07 335 I am not sure Last edited by ctuna; 02-07-2011 at 10:40 PM.. |

If your car doesn't have factory Navi, this is hands down the best option. It's more flexible and upgradable than the factory software and includes bluetooth, ipod, USB integration, GPS and back up camera capabilities. It is true that you will not retain the logic 7 system if you do have that option however I think it's a small price to pay for the increased functionality and to replace the useless standard headunit.
