So I have a FBO 335i an want to learn how to use my tune more. I have always just loaded maps done logs made sure everything was ruining right an would let it be.

I would like to learn how to turn up boost and get some more power out of my car. as my logs are telling me peek boost is about 14lbs at the moment not sure if weather is a factor as south Florida has been quite humid lately.

I am currently running
9/10 stage 3 50/50 maps

Sorry for noob question just can't find any info on this really.

First you need to make sure how your car is running on default settings = logging , than you can start tweaking.
There is a guide in sticky.

The tuning guide sticky doesn't have info on altering setting in the user tuning interface as far as increasing an decreasing boost/timing.

As far as logs I always log when I load new maps to make sure everything is smooth.

There is a great sticky that has a user made manual for the procede and tells you all about how to tweak your tune and raise boost. But make sure each tweak is minor and you go out and datalog after each tweak to make sure the car is responding nicely.

Map 1 with ic 100? If yes lower ic to 50 (which will make you run more timings ) and relog only 3rd -4th gear.
What is the UT value? If you raise that you will run more boost.
Thats it. Ut and ic .

- 50/50 e85/93
- didn't touch IC came set at "0" an left it at "0"
- OL fueling I Have at 90%
- start boost at 55%

I remember reading somewhere That with a 50/50 blend it is acceptable if car runs a bit leaner but what would be acceptable?

my AFRs are tapering from mid 13's to around high 12's, and theres nothing I can do to get them any lower. OL doesnt effect this. Car is running strong and seems happy though.

than start raising UT by 5% till you see drops in ignition than back off 5 again. If your trims max out to 34% raise OL by 5 and see

You look like one of the lucky ones that has plenty of room to go in the fuel system. I am FBO and I can't run more than 30% tank of e85 without maxed fuel trims... and that is with a modified "higher value" OL Fuel table. I can't run higher than Stage 1 map

For Stage 3 50/50 maps, you are looking solid. I'd go with enrita's recommendation and start raising your Start Boost by 5%, continue to log and watch your ign advance for large drops, Once you see those, you've reached a pretty good point and should back off the boost a touch, I know he said 5% back, but you can start creeping back 2% at a time. I like to get every bit out of it

Shiv once told me that once the logs look good, Log and look at "Debug Byte 4" to see how far you can go with the boost. Unfortunately, I don't know how to interpret Debug Byte 4... maybe someone can chime in.

Also... click on your AFR channels in the lower left window, press "P" and set the scale, or tick Auto scale.
