FS: AST 4100 (upgraded internals) coilovers with M3 rear upgrade
Hi Guys, I've parted out my 335i and one of the last things for sale are my AST coilovers that I bought new in June of 2010. I sent the shocks/struts back to AST in July of this year to have them revalved and rebuilt to the Double Digressive Piston design of the new 4150 shocks that were supposed to be out this year. You can read more about this upgrade on their website, but DDPs allow for a shock profile similar to stock at open dampening then race profile as you close increase the dampening (12-adjustments). This greatly improved the ride comfort from my assessment during the 700 miles of driving I did before turning my car back to stock. With these shocks, you will also get everything you need to install these. I've upgraded the rear camber plate to the superior design of the M3 suspension. I've included SWIFT (336F/672R) springs with thrust sheets and Vorshlag camber plates. Below are pictures and all parts included. These are essentially brand new shocks/struts with 4150 internals. All you need to do is install them, no additional parts needed. AST 4100shocks/struts upgraded to 4150 internals(Double Digressive Pistons) - include adjustment wrench, rear spring adjustment collar. Vorshlag Camber Plates (custom top nut bolt to increase droop) SWIFT springs (336F / 672R) Thrust sheets M3 rear camber plate upgrade (all bolts included) Brand new, this set would cost over $3K due to Vorshlag camber plates and M3 rear camber plates. Additionally, the double digressive piston upgrade (revalve and rebuild) cost me another thousand(will post copy of DDP upgrade invoice). I'm asking $1995 Shipped. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Haysam |

Awesome set-up! If I didn't have the 4100's already, I'd take them.
If you're willing to part out the camber plates, please let me know via e-mail: nivedhm {at} gmail {dot} com. I'm also interested in your BSM M-Sport front bumper. |
