I've just picked up a very cheap 100k M57 that has been in an altercation with a bollard. Not much damage, just a new front wing and steering rack.

But. it seems to have another issue. At idle the cabin vibrates really badly. The idle is stable, ~900 when cold and ~700 when warm. Doesn't seem to misfire and revs up to the redline fine.

I've I put slight pressure on the throttle and take it up to 1k, the vibration is gone.

I've scanned for codes, and has a couple of glowplugs out and a 4030 (dpf back pressure). I'm not going to be able to clear this until the steering rack is replaced.

Could one of these errors cause the vibration? or maybe engine mounts? anything else?

Check engine mounts yes, harmonic balancer and guibo/driveshaftbearing.
