Assume Lease: 2009 e92 - 335I Coupe - JB 6spd
Assume a lease on a 2009 335i coupe. I decided to leave my career and now going to Law School in DC. I have tried every possible budget, but with a 45K+ a year tuition and the lack of my current salary, the 3er has to go Jet Black exterior Saddle Brown interior Dark Burl Walnut wood trim Manual 6sp transmission New/updated 2009 Navi/iDrive. Premium Package Sport Package with 18" wheels Heated Seats iPod/iPhone integration (music & calls) Comfort Access HD Radio Sirius Ready BMW Assist Bluetooth USB port in dash for vehicles internal HD storage No performance mods, tweaks to engine or cpu have ever been performed. The only mods are matte-black kidney grills and black lower mesh grills (see picture below). Car is in excellent condition. It has been babied and taken fantastic care of. No dents or dings. Tires are basically brand new. The lease is for 3 years with 15,000 miles per year. It began on 10/23/08 and matures on 10/23/11. Currently, the car has less than 7,500 miles nearing the full first year of the lease. Payment Information: -base payment: $696.71 -PA taxes: $62.70 -total monthly payment in PA: $759.41 (Payments include wheel and tire insurance which replace/repair ANY damage to wheels and tires whether it is drivers fault or not). -currently, payments are due the 23rd of each month but this may be changed to an earlier/later part of the month at the next drivers convenience. -I put 2.5k down which I do not expect from the person who is taking over this lease. I only ask that the lease transfer fee be paid by the person assuming the lease. Residual: $29,304.50 Payoff as of 9/4/2009: $41,664.97. Some pictures I took tonight, sorry for the poor quality. What are you in currently that you're switching out of to go to LS? Which schl? It's probably too late, but I'd seriously reconsider!

Georgetown. You are not the first to say this. I know what I'm getting into, but in this specific decision, the potential improvements in regards to my future career options outweigh the potential hardships. I currently run a fine-dining restaurant, and while the money is sufficient to keep me happy and comfortable, it has become all too easy. Not easy in terms of the amount of work one puts in, but easy in that I cannot find a serious challenge. I have no motivation and have become apathetic, devoid of any passion for the job. Staying would not be fair to myself or the owner. If I could not have gotten into a top school (which offers a better opportunity for employment after graduating), I would seriously reconsider my choice and re-evaluate my position. As they say, the grass is always greener on the other side. I'm content with the fact that I know what side I will be looking out from. I'm actually quite curious where you went to school and what you currently do that you despise it enough to warn a stranger?
Anyway... would you like to assume a lease on a 2009 335i e92 in immaculate condition with extremely low miles?!?! |

Guys I know the lease doesn't have the lowest payments ever heard of, but you can't deny it's a good deal. Search for 09's with same options and it's rare to find payments a significant amount lower unless a large down payment was made!
Current buyout is about $40,99x.xx good until 12/20/09. I've actually checked edmunds and blue book values on the car and both private and dealer prices are higher/about equal to buyout amount. Unfortunately, all dealers I have spoken with refuse to buy the car while they still have 07's to sell haha! |
