Awesome im glad they came out looking clean. Im thinking of going with the non-HID assembly so I dont have to mess with cancelers. I wonder if an 08 328i would get the same errors.

Looks good! Do you know if you can replace the angel eyes, ie use LUX5.0 or aiB?
edit: woops, just looked on jlevi's site and it says angel eyes are not replaceable. |

These Depo units utilize 4 individual 5W wedge type bulbs for each Angel Eye Ring. Theoretically speaking, you should be able to utilize our 5W 194 LED bulbs in order to upgrade them to a pure white color...we just need someone to be the guinea pig

Hmmm, I might buy these lights and perhaps try the 5w wedge bulb to see how it works for angel eyes.
1. Which 194 bulb is it? How much are the 5w 194 wedge bulbs? 2. I see a number of 194 5w led's on ebay. Price around $20 for 10. Would they work? Example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/10-19...Q5fAccessories 3. Debating the 4300k vs. the 6000k xenon. I've got an audi A4 with xenon and 4300k bulbs and the look is fine for me. Might consider the 6000k for the BMW, but I don't want it looking "ricer" or too blue. Should I stick with the 4300k? |

wow its so exciting to wake up and have xenons again! realgok, you don't have to be a big techie, but you should know whats what on a car. if you are patient, follow instructions, and use common sense and have a bit of resourcefulness, shouldnt take more than 3 hrs. to be honest bumper removal and reinstallation took most of the time.
orangedawg - get the 6000k its such a stunning pure white, not really purple like some other 6000k kits, and it seems to illuminate much better than my oem xenons on my e46 |

Looks nice, Sandman. Amber gone makes a huge difference. Can you post pics of the AE's once the sun goes down?

using a crappy point and shoot camera for now which seems to have trouble capturing the AE. they look amazing in person, but still pretty good in the pics, enough to give you an idea:

These look great! Thanks for the posts! I will be doing the same now that I've seen yours. I hate my halogens... Our cars shouldn't even come with them! What a great upgrade and for a great price.

VERY cool! Though, the angel eyes seem a bit smaller compared to stock, they look really nice The lack of amber really makes the car look more modern.
Enjoy the enhanced visibility! You'll never go back to halogen. |
