Removing paint transfer damage
We got about a foot of snow in Denver this week. I was pulling up my driveway into my garage and apparently my driveway was iced over because the front end of my car drifted over and kissed the doorway of my garage transferring white paint to my Jet Black e92.
I have clear bra so I didn't want to use anything like paint thinner or mineral spirits that would give the bra a foggy look. I decided to go with Scratch-X. It took a lot of pressure and about 90 minutes, but it worked pretty well. In the sunlight it looks more dull than the rest, but I'm hoping a little wax will fix that. Should I have used something else?? Before: And after:

looks good by hand your the man! I would have used a dual action machine and some fine polish it should have come out a bit quicker than 90 minutes.
the clear film did a great job! it already saved you from painting the bumper! |
