Defective pressure plate-see pic

So was getting ready to install new 335is clutch kit and noticed a defect in the pressure plate; as you can see in the pic, there is a 3-4mm chunk missing from the disk face. Should I send this thing back for a new one or is this nothing to worry about? It seems like it could wear a groove into the friction disk since it's uneven here.....kind of a pain in the ass but I'm not in a huge hurry and don't want any problems down the road, what u guys think?

Garage List
Send it back, the labor alone isn't worth risking.

x2.

Not worth the risk, let alone if it works for a little while, you won't be able to return it i'm sure, once it's installed.

It is just inperfection in the pressure plate casting and I am sure it is outside of the area where facing would get in contact with it. The clutch would work just fine if you were to install it but if it makes you feel better then return it for the new one.
