On Tirerack you can get the whole kit with the springs & the dampers for $685 which I don't think is too bad.

I just got this kit from tirerack, they are on sale for $600 (sportlines springs and pro dampers). Pretty good deal considering dampers alone are $560.

The only thing im trying to figure out is why the kit does not include bump stops. There are no instructions to shave or cut the stock ones. Called eibach but they are gone for the weekend, anyone know anything about these bump stops?

I'm running Eibachs with the performance shocks as well. It is truly a great setup. The ride is still very comfortable. Anyone considering going this way should def pull the trigger.

Are you running the pro-kit springs or sportlines? Im still waiting on wheels to come in to install my sportlines. Hope they are not too low.

What "kit" did you order? I am running Eibach Pro Kit springs and BMW Performance dampers. Rear factory bump stops need to be trimmed, fronts are to be left alone. Bump stops don't come with springs, only shocks.

I got the eibach sport kit, it comes with sportline springs (red springs) and eibach shocks. Here's the link

If the kit did not come with bump stops, the assumption is you will resuse your factory bump stops. According to the Eibach Pro Kit instructions (I am reading them as I type) rear factory bump stops are to be trimmed 25mm. Front bump stop does not require trimming.

Eibach has very good customer service, so if you want a 2nd opinion call their 800 number and they can fax or email you the instructions (they did for me). GL

Rather than create another thread, I'll add my input on the Eibach/Performance damper combo. The look I like. It makes my e90 more inline with the low profile streamlined look of the previous gen e46.I went from ZSP springs to the Eibach Sport Kit and so far, I'm not really happy with the ride.

There is a lot more Bounce with the Eibachs, they feel softer than the ZSP honestly. At least the rear springs do. Steering response is better, I'll give it that, but It seems a lot less predictable on sudden quick maneuvers. I wouldn't autoX with these personally. This combo (so far) doesn't warrant enough confidence to push the car harder where the Sport/Performance combo did.

It's very comfortable over small bumps and imperfections, until you hit a bigger bump. But It also feels more like a Camry. (Ok HUGE exaggeration :P, but it is softer than stock sports initially). I'll give it a few more miles for them to settle and see. Otherwise, I'll switch the rears back to ZSP and go from there.

I have the new dampner kit from Tischer (got last year) but have to make a decision on springs. Thinking that 19" wheels look great but will look at new 18"s like F14's / ARC-8 once the new suspension is installed.

Bounce has nothing to do with your springs and everything to do with your dampers and not providing appropriate dampening. The exception would be if your springs were installed incorrectly.

I installed the "old' performance suspension from Tischer with the Eibach Pro-Kit springs and can say it is a vast improvement over oem non-sport and one hell of a deal. The ride is firm but nice, there is no over bouncing and it hooks up better when accelerating over bumps. The drop is marginal and comparable to oem sport height. I had two blown shocks so anything new was better, but I would recommend this to someone looking for a low cost suspension upgrade from non-sport.

Here is a question for anyone. I have the "old"performance springs and shock combo. Like the ride but I wished it was a tad bit lower (like1/2 inch), especially in front. So I have a forum member suggesting I switch my yellow springs to eibach pro. How is this ride combo compared to my current ride? How much more of a drop? Will it even out my fronts with my rears?

^ Why don't you just get the SP lowering perches and keep your linear rate springs?

^ I have it on right now. Looks great! But they make so much noise it's driving me nuts. My tech and I have installed it twice with impact wrench, removed rubber grommets, tighten it real tight but for some effing reason it creaks and rattles. Don't know what else to do other take the SP perch off. But then I have the front that sits 1/2 inch higher than back. Ride and performance is great though
