if Shiv can do it so can anyone else.... the engine can do what it can and there aren't really any secrets about tuning a motor. you either can or you cant. it's simple trial and error.

It's claiming 300 valet, 380 switched on (flywheel). Torque is kind of low at 385 flywheel. Right around where the TT is

Holy smoke Terry, are you a one-trick pony? Let's just let this thread develop without dragging your personal vendetta into it.

so the xede... is it the same install as the PROcede?
Yes it is.. comes with a unit and wiring harness.

BTW the guys at AA Tuning did the tuning maps themselves. Nothing was copied from other tuners.

Yup, your install for the Xede's going to be very similar to the Procede. Only difference is Procede offers more features.
My favorite is the Torque managment feature (aka launch control) and of course the top speed limit defeat feature for folks who want to go faster than 160mph or who don't have the sport package and are stuck at 130mph.

Nope but will ask for one tomorrow since I am an AA dealer.

Karl Hugh, the leading engineer of AA Tuning, sent me an email answering questions about direct injection and informed me about their Xede unit, in how they played around with it, and told me how it made close to 380-390rwT and 354rwhp.

im sure within the near future all Xede/Procede owners will be able to use eachother maps.

IE.
AA xede user putting a Vishnu Procede map on their xede etc. It's just a matter of time before people start experimenting.

No idea. I'll do my best to get a dyno chart with before and after results with the Xede.

Yep, one and the same. But seems many people don't remember that post since it was titled "black box" heh...

BTW, for the record: this is the 2nd non-PROcede thread I've seen in which people were bracing for the pro-PROcede people to "trash" - yet, in both instances, they never materialized. Something to think about. In fact, they were both about products mentioned before, so I think all the old "trashing" still applies, so why repeat it

Nonetheless I don't mind seeing these types of threads - after all, this is what this section is all about.

Can't do that. They are completely different systems (hardware, software, etc,.) The maps aren't interchangeable. And the PROcede and XEDE go about fuel, timing and boost control in very different ways.

How do people honestly own a bmw and never heard of Active Autowerke? They make e46 m3 suprcharger kits that go from 265rwhp, to a stg3 at about 465rwhp. They make everything performance for basically any bmw. People ship their cars there from all over the world. They are the leaders in bmw, I know that this is a joke. Go on any other bmw forum, e46fanatics.com, bimmerforums.com, damn they are in 37 diff magazines, they have had magazine covers, countless.
