I'm too located in Bristol, Sytner newport is the closest sytner dealer. I might go there myself.

righto, i'm going to add my name to this on the assumption that i can cancel the 'fitting' part, or defer it to another time?

I think i will need to pick up the kit and then depending on where i am in the country go to which ever dealer happens to be easiest at the time.. currently i am swinging between wales and farnborough..

any issues with that?

I have had problems. Both my subs now make a clicking/tapping noise if listening to full sounded music (not even "doof doof"). EDIT - also note, it has been two months since i had the Alpine system installed, but my problem is not yet solved hence my disappointment.

There's nothing wrong with the Alpine kit as I have it in E90 which I fitted myself (a very tedious process and me took ages) and the quality is superb. Its not clicking and no interference, so if I can get it right (not a mechanic) then it sounds like either have a fitting problem (earth???) or it could a faulty component, think you need to seek advise in the technical section.
