I wish I was! I am stuck in Louisiana man! I picked up the car in Ontario California though. Beautiful place there! I wish I could land a network engineering job there and I'd move in a heartbeat.

Hey guys, so I just got in a BMS downpipe and Vishnu charge pipe which I am eager to install. The thing is I have heard of people having some rough idling issues with the N55 with JB4 + Downpipe. As of now the car runs great with the JB4 as is but I'm wondering if anyone has had any success with eliminating the rough idle with the ISO upgrade? Or should I just leave it as is until after install of the dp and see how it is and go from there? I have the JB4 out now so it would be easier to cut the diode now prior to install of the dp but I'm afraid to create new problems that I might not have had before because of the ISO upgrade. Can anyone provide some insight ? I'm apprehensive to create new problems for something that is working pretty well as of now lol. Thanks guys.

I only get a rough idle on a fresh start maybe once every 100 starts, and it only lasts for about 15 seconds while the O2 sensors heat up afaik.

Do the downpipe now, you will not regret it one bit.

Car is going to the dealer on Tuesday for vanos recall work, I plan on reinstalling the jb4 after that but it might be a few weeks until the dp goes in. Should I do the iso before reinstalling the jb4? Or should I wait and see how it is after downpipe is installed?

I would go ahead and do the ISO, much smoother

Are there any possible down sides of the ISO ? Like any side effects ?

I did the ISO today and it is definitely smoother and also doesn't feel as fast. I left it at default settings. One other thing I noticed was after doing a few pulls and came to a stop. My exhaust sounds a little different at idle. I'm not sure if this is normal but it was blowing out cold exhaust.

Silly question but you're sure the car was warmed up? You'll get stock boost until warm

The default wastegate position will alter the sound of your exhaust. The closer to 0 the higher your exhaust sound but slower turbo spool.....the closer to 80 or higher the lower your exhaust sound but faster turbo spool. Hope this helps
