Ordered an E90 320d in Norway in mid of April (My First BMW!)
Delivery end of June so now it is only 4 weeks waiting!!!!
Wanted the Style 162- 18'' Alloy Wheels but the roads here are not like roads in Denmark or Germany or odder countries in Europe or in US. too many bumps and holes
You guys over there have very good roads at least in Florida
My car will in Germany costs about 45.000,- euro inkl16%vat(netto export ca 38,000,-)
The tax in Norway will be add about 30.000,- euro total 68.000,- euro
This is robbery, do I want to immigrate

The prices you pay for extras in Germany we have to pay double because of tax to the government
Only comfort is that the car is more expensive in Denmark

Hi All, last week I ordered my 06' 330i in 6 speed manual, Artic Metallic, Black Leather, Power Rear Sunshade, Aluminum Trim and Sport Package.

I should be taking delivery sometime in late July or 1st week of August. Meantime, it's pretty cool to track the production on BMW's website!

Took delivery of my E90 today and have been driving non-stop! What an awesome car! Absolutely no regrets in choosing it at all!
Only weird thing is when I called the insurance to provide them with the VIN number, the year model came up as 2005 on their system.

Thats pretty cool, yes I am still waiting for mine, Tina said mayb'e the 2nd week of June, but I still have my reserves on that , seems like it's taking forever, ordered in early March still no car . Oh well, anyway show us some pic's please :-). Enjoy your new car, hope it treat you good for years to come.

Placed my order on Friday the 13th (!) of May... called the BMW 1-800 number today, June 1 (more precise tracking than the web site) and it's "in the paint shop" with a completion date of June 3... the dealer is estimating that it will be in Houston and delivered to me by July 15.

Sorry that your car is taking so long. I lucked out with my order. I pretty much got what I wanted. The car was actually on its way to the Maui dealer but Tina intercepted it when it ported in Honolulu.
By the way, I mentioned to her my concerns about the BMW service department and how MB across the street has a fleet of loaners. She just made some comment about how MB needs it because of their crappy cars. She said that when I need to service the car, just give her a call and she can talk to the service agent for me.
Anyhow, I will try to take come pics of my car if I can find the camera charger! Then the only thing is learning how to post them after!

I just found out that my car has been held at the VPC because they are replacing the rear bumper,she said it was scratched?, I am starting to think mayb'e more than just a surface scratch. I know these cars get damaged from time to time during transit, but now why me , pretty bummed out, have waited sooo long and now this. They say the VPC is just like the factory, and any repairs that is better than the dealer, but I am thinking to myself, I have paid MSRP for a not so perfect car :mad:. I dunno what to do now, order again and take my chances that this might happen again, cancel altogether and keep my 330 that I have??. . Bummed and pissed in Honolulu. Oh yea about Tina's comment on how crappy MBZ are , I have had my 330 the shop on an average of 6 time per year,all unexpected, and some times the same problems as before that they never fixed, so take some reservations with that BMW is so great a car that is the reason why they do not have so many loaners. My brother in law has a 230 Kompressor and it runs great in the shop loads less than my BMW, I just like how BMW drives and feels thats why I put up with the cars for 10 years so far. I hope the 2006 and later 3 series will be much better service issues that the e46's.

Few days ago I heard from my dealer that my 320d has arrived!!! I will have a look on saturday!! Just a pity that I have to wait till August 1, before taking delivery... (current lease contract expires on July 31).

Ordered yesterday, scheduled for "week 24" production, late July or early August delivery.

What amazed me was hearing that almost 90% of 3 series cars are coming with steptronic. I'd consider Audi's slick new computerized manual gearbox with the dual input shafts, but I've never met an automatic that wanted to shift when I wanted it to shift, and wanted to NOT shift when I wanted to keep the revs up.
