Well well well. That is really something else! It's in a totally different league to anything else I've been in.
With the exception of the 911 Turbo's launch control, non of the other cars I've been in have made me react like that. With the other cars I've been able to sit in the passenger seat and just quietly take it in. Not in the Lambo! As soon as the taps opened I couldn't help but make noises - it's an assult to the senses and you simply can't sit there quietly. It's amazing - it's so fast it's stupid. On the other hand, the ride is totally aweful. There is no way you could live with it on a daily basis. We were doing 30mph and I'm not joking, my phone flew out of my hand - that's how bumpy it is. In comparison, the ride in the 458 is almost as good as a normal car. I'm not a fan of the looks either - the rear is nasty, and the dashboard looks like the one in Fiesta. But wow, it was still awesome! Pics tomorrow.

Excellent,
I think the Aventador (Spanish for Fan-Blower ) is an outright beautiful automobile, it looks like an Autobot - Optimus Prime maybe. A good mini review Banzibarn - I'm envious!

Sorry, without custard, those photos don't count
Amazing machine - I'd suffer the ride to own one (hey, we're used to a M Sport/run flat combo afterall!!).

I put it down so so carefully - left no marks.
The car had swirls anyway Normally have custard in the house, but unfortunately in this case, I was out of stock.

I'd still wouldn't want one though - if it was as pretty as a 458 then yes, I would! Oh, and something I forgot to mention! The gear box! Single Clutch? That really surprised me, because compared to the acceleration you were getting, the gear changes took an eternity. This surely will be having an effect on the 0-60 time. It's a shame. On the other hand though, because the changes took so long, you really felt the grunt when it came back in - so in that respect, it was quite good. Also, driving it in traffic was hard - the pickup in 1st was really harsh. Parking it with the nose towards a wall was really difficult - it would lurch and there was a real risk of smashing it! But hey, I know this isn't a town car! But in some ways, this is what makes the 458 so good - it's so fast yet easy to drive as your daily car.

Funny enough I was driving through Colchester yesterday behind a 458 Italia, it truly is a beautiful-beautiful automobile.

Amazing opportunity-I suppose that's the reality of trying to own a supercar in the UK though, they're just not made for our roads.
Not that I would be complaining if I had the funds! |

But it isn't designed for the everyday commute!! I'd expect the ride to be harsh on our awful roads.

It's not nice. The little flap over the start button is tasty too - its not a fighter plane so pointless pretending. Kids would like it though.
