Swapping exhaust from 335i to 328i

So I have both a 335i and a 328i, both 07 models. I want to buy the Eisenmann race exhause for my 335i, I dont want to get rid of the old exhaust, so my question is can I just swap it on to the 328i? I know its missing a whole on the right side, but besides that issue, is there anything else I need to know?

Hey dude it works. I did the convertion 325i to 335i exahust and if you want all oem parts you will spend around 600 dollars pluss labor. And close to 1000 for the new bumper. It can be done but isn't cheap. But all the rear parts from 335i will fit your 328i.
Btw mine has all oem parts.

I thought the 328 didn't have the space in the rear to fit the right side exhaust due to the extra storage space in the 328?

Don't forget the mounting points and downpipe configuration.

Man..so many know it alls on the forum now. Too bad half of you don't have a clue. As one of the smarter members posted already, anything is really possible if you have the money/resources. This is one of my faves for the 328s http://ltbmw.com/2011/01/ltbmw-e92-3...d-335-exhaust/

lol, owned. the 328 has dual pipes all the way back to the resonator, so you can splice in the piping for the 335i somewhere after the exhaust manifolds like those pics show..

you also have to remove the trunk storage tray on the 328i and replace it with the shallow 335i version.
