Help with muffler delete
I'm hoping to go ahead and do a muffler delete on my e92 328
does it bring any warning lights up or ruin my warranty? thanks |

Just did mine....(e92 335i), search for my posts, I have a sound clip of it as well under my muffler delete post. I have had zero issues, no warning lights and spoke to my SA at the dealership and he said it was good to go....

I am happy with it....I dig the tone of it however, my likes may be different than yours or others....there is a drone on the highway at speed but I like the noise, that coupled with the intake whistle suits me just fine!!! And if it gets annoying for you, just turn up the radio.

A muffler delete will Not produce any warning lights.
There is more cabin drone obviously but the sound of the exhaust note is a lot of fun. With tips you will look at spending around $150-200 depending on what your shop charges |

Just seems like changing out the muffler would be much better than to lose any torque on the 328. It's low enough as is. Why not a magnaflow muffler?

I gained torque, kids. As long as you keep the resonator you shouldn't get screwed for power. More horsepower and torque over stock for less than a used PBX. Can't go wrong.

I've had the MD for a couple months now and I can safely say that I don't feel any loss in power from before. If there is any loss of power I for sure can't feel it.
