E46 M3 is by far the best looking car in my opinion. It's far more aggressive standard than any other bmw. Is still holds its presence on the road now.
But what do I know as I probably own the ugliest bmw ever made in standard form |

I agree with the OP. When I first drove my E91 to work, the young admin girl in the office described it as "very pretty".
How many BMWs can be described as pretty? Aggressive, purposeful, Germanic, boxy maybe ... but pretty? Somehow they got it right with the E9X - I think it has a very natural cat-like look to the front end. It was the E9X look that first opened my eyes to the idea of BMW ownership. Reluctantly, I have to admit the E92 is probably the best looking of the bunch. |

I have been driving E93s since 07 in exactly the same interior and exterior colours.
Sparkling graphite and coral red leather and every time I walk towards it in a carpark I am still loving it. I had a new one sought out in 58 reg when the colour had been discontinued. |

The E92 is undoubtedly a very very good looking car (the M3 especially).
On the other hand, the E90 pre LCI was probably the least good looking car BMW have made since the 3 series Ti models. It has an utter trainwreck of a front end. Luckily, the E90 LCI remedied this completely, and i think a blue M-Sport E90 LCI with Xenon's is one of the best recently looking BMW's. The F30 isn't much of a looker, the F10 is very well proportioned, but just a bit on the large side. The E46 M3 is good looking also, but i'll never understand why BMW didn't give it the facelifted front like the normal E46 coupe I would have been perfect with that facelift. |

I am biased towards the E92 since it is my 3rd one, def the best looking model after the E46 M3. Mine would be:
1. E46 M3 2. E92 M3 3. E36 M3 4. E60 M5 5. New 7's. |
