Got the exhaust welded on this morning, took Muffin Muffler Shop about an hour to get it fit, cost $100 even. One thing to note. The installer had to heat the outside mount and tweak it slightly to get the tips to sit straight, level, and center in the bumper opening even with the adjustment given. Fits perfectly now, sounds and looks amazing!

This may have been asked already, but I am seriously considering purchasing this exhaust. So, will this exhaust clamp on to the piping of my car? I have an N51 motor and I've seen posts where others have had trouble due to different diameter size.

Please post a picture / measurement of the exhaust piping 3 inches forward of the muffler.

I have the N51 as well, mines was installed a few years ago they ended up cutting the stock and welding the AA due to some fitment issues. Never had an issue with the exhaust after install. I have a coupe btw.

I apologize for not responding earlier with a measurement/picture, but I actually ended up going with the AA exhaust anyways. Took a bit of welding and cutting, but it didn't take long and it now sounds great. Thanks.

It simply removes the stock muffler and replaces it with a small drone chamber and a straight piping.

Any chance you guys will make one of these for the 530? Had one on my 328 xiT and would LOVE to get on my wife's new (to her) 530 xiT!!!

Or can this one maybe be modified by a quality exhaust shop to make it work on the 530?

is the drone because of the vibration of the exhaust?
would a stronger rubber hanger help?
like Polyurethane hanger?
i am just wondering. don't flame me

Good questions, but highly doubtful. I tried the cork reinforcement method on my OEM hangers with no change in drone. I don't know of any urethane aftermarket ones, either. I read somewhere that someone bought some silencers and they "worked," but I don't know the degree of success.

Review by one of our customers Kaleb

I've had this exhaust installed for a week now and put about 100 miles on it. It sounds great throughout the rpm band. It is loud when you want it to be and quiet when you want it to be. Also, I don't think the start ups (especially cold starts) will ever get old.

AA did a great job overall with this system!
