Yes, you can...but be sure to clear any codes before taking your car in for service.

Although I removed my aFe DCI a couple months ago and reinstalled my oem stock intake (w/ scoops) + BMC drop-in air filter, I never changed from the 2-19 Stage 1 non-doomsday map to the Stage 0 non-doomsday map, and haven't had any issues....my car has been running flawlessly and pulling just as hard (down low and up high) as it did with the DCI.

So, I loaded up the new firmware and Stage 1 non-doomsday map (set @ at the default settings), and although I haven't seen any hiccups, limps, or other errors, I still can't tell if it's more powerful and provides any better throttle response than the 2-19 map (set @ 85% UT)????? btw - I'm running 93 octane in ~ 85 degree F / high humidity weather. Any thoughts?
Seems about the same to me as well, but who knows... Maybe it's the humidity..

I bet if we ran together, the outcome would probably be almost identical as the last time we ran together...me getting the slight jump with you slightly pulling away in the upper end...ha ha.

btw -- my plan as of right now is to get my 2010 335i Coupe and drive it for 3 years. Then, I will be on the hunt for a slightly used 2010 or 2011 Nissan GT-R!!!!! My bro just got a new 2010 GT-R Premium; haven't driven it yet (haven't even been in it yet ) but I can only imagine what a crazed BEAST it is!!!!! Are you still up in the air as to what your next DD will be?

shiv - how hard would it be for you to program the procede to unlock the doors when the ignition is turned off. i know someone sells a device that connects to the canbus and does the same thing - as well as some other functions - but unlocking the doors when the ignition is turned off is major haha. not sure how involved the programming would be though.

just a suggestion...

For me a much more useful feature would be start/stop datalogging when pressing a specific button (for instance, rear window defroster button). My friend's EVO has this feature. Very useful when you're alone.

does he have to have the computer connected? i don't think the procede supports on board data logging....

are you saying you would connect the laptop - but push a button on the car to start/stop the session?

Under Central Locking in i-Drive (not sure how without Nav). You can uncheck the option for lock after driving (or something like that). That way the doors are unlocked when you stop. I just prefer this way but many may not.

its a 4 door - i often have stuff in the back seat and or trunk so i have to push the unlock button on the dash or the key.... its just gets annoying day in day out.... the car should unlock itself when you take the key out.

Read your manual. You can't set the car to auto-unlock, but you can set it so that it won't auto-lock to begin with.
