blackout and orion V4 project!

Mark finally decided to pull the trigger on his headlight retrofit so I was more than happy to help him out since I've done my own blackout before! Here are the results! let me know what you guys think!

very nice work! what did you use to crack them open and not mess up the area where the cover glues up? also, how'd you mount the inner halo? i saw you ran the wire up and over the shroud, why not drill a small hole and feed it through?

I used a heat gun, screw driver and a lot of patience!! they are very hard to open up!
inner halo I glued with epoxy and I couldn't really drill the hole in the old AE because the cables are very stiff right by the edge of umnitza angel eye and it's easier just to run it upwards, you can't see it anyway because it's covered by the eyebrow!

E92 took awhile because you need to wait for primer and then paint to dry so it takes almost a whole day!

What kind of silver paint did you use?

I currently have a full blackout, but was thinking of painting the projector shrouds silver.

Not a fan of the blacked out eyelid. Makes it look like a pre-LCI or aftermarket headlight. Nice otherwise, though.
