Coolant/antifreeze

What's the recommended mileage to change the antifreeze/coolant?. Are there any packages like the oil change package that are sold to accomplish the job such as crush washer, coolant etc.
Any pics, videos out the the process.
My SUV requires me to drain, fill, idle, check, fill, idle, check, until full. Check again a day later and fill if require.

Thanks fir any assistance.

100,000 miles. Check the DIY section. I posted a coolant change DIY a few years back.

Definitely look in the DIY section. After a coolant change, you must vent it properly, otherwise you run the risk of breaking the water pump.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

By the way i change my coolant every two years. The water pump is about $500 and the coolant change is cheap insurance. Keep in mind anti-freeze not only prevents your coolant from freezing, it also lubricates the pump.

I had the coolant replaced in 3.5 years / 31,000 miles. My SA recommended replacing the coolant and the PS Fluid. Yet to do the PS fluid though.
