Kinesis wheels post Lexani buyout

As some of you probly know, Kinesis was bought out by Lexani

last October. Kinesis was always one of the best and most respected wheel manufacturers in the world. Since the buyout there has been some concern that the quality has gone down.

I'm trying to get some information from people that are familiar with the wheels, pre and post Lexani, to see if there is any difference. Or if Lexani simply bought the company, and the materials and production methods are the same.

I love the K18's with the reverse lip, but if the wheels have taken a nose dive quality wise, I dont want to waste my money and I'll stick with Forgeline as my original choice.

Any info is appreciated.

So it's more politics than anything else?

Looks like there customer service isn't all that great either. I e-mailed them almost a week ago and still haven't gotten a reply.

I wonder if Lexani looses enough money from the buyout, if they'll sell the company to someone who can bring them back to where they used to be.

I don't think you can go wrong with Forgeline. I'm on my 9th set of wheels from them and have had no issues.
