Will a m3 dct speedo work in a 335i manual car?

As above? Looking to swap out my speedo with a speedo from a dct m3. My car is a 335i Manual

you need to have a chip soldered into the cluster, than have the cluster coded.

The new chip is required as the cluster has the original vin # stored into the chipset
