When do I replace the spark plugs? N54.

Just bought my 2008 535 with 29000 miles and I've heard that the plugs should be replaced, especially when I install a tune.

Ordered a new Cobb AP tuner this week.
Can't wait to try it out but I wanna be sure that it does throw any misfire codes.

I use this rule of thumb as a bare minimum:

Do an in-between for every BMW-recommended interval

7500 mile oil changes, 22.5k mile spark plug changes. If you have an automatic, do a tranny fluid flush and change around 50-60k miles.

I don't reset anything... When the oil life on startup shows 7000-8000 miles left on it, I go for my in-between. When the indicator shows "service due", take a trip to the dealer.

If you have the bavtec tool you can modify the miles it says between oil changes. I get the dealer to change my oil every 9k miles for free. I still change it on my own in between.

Well, I did a DIY on this procedure, but the forum moderators decided that it was immoral and illegal and they closed the thread!
