BOV Flutter

I recently got a Tial BOV with a ER Chargepipe from TGS. I'm running around 17PSI with E85.

At mid-throttle, I am getting fluttering out of the BOV which I understand is probably compressor surge. I probably got 11psi springs as that is what ER typically ships out with the Tial and most people are ok with.

Do I need a lower psi spring? or is there a reason why the 11psi doesn't work with my setup? Perhaps the BOV is defective? Thanks in advance!

Garage List
TiAL offers a 7lb, 8lb, 11lb and 12lb spring for their blowoff valve. This is what TiAL recommends when choosing a blowoff valve spring.

Measure engine vacuum at idle. ( engine at operating temperature )

Vacuum Reading
Between ----------------------------------------- Use Spring
-22 in/hg and -23 in/hg -------------------------12 psi (-24 in/hg)
-18 in/hg and -21 in/hg -------------------------11 psi (-22 in/hg)
-14 in/hg and -17 in/hg -------------------------9 psi (-18 in/hg)
-10 in/hg and -13 in/hg -------------------------7 psi (-14 in/hg

Well.. I had a vacuum leak alright... I never connected the hose from the top of the Tial BOV to the TB. Oops. Problem resolved.
