Euro plate got me pulled over

Was going down the highway, doing the speed limit, motorcycle cop pulls me over and says that the plate is illegal and that I need a front plate. I explained that there is a hole behind the plate where my car was hit by somebody and the damage wasn't enough to where I should report it and have it show up in my carfax report. The cost wouldn't go over the deductible... He proceeds to write the citation after looking at the hole and gives a warning about my tint. He asks if I've been pulled over in the past year and at that point I realized that this was the same officer who gave me my last ticket. This is a state trooper that seems to have it out for me... Maybe he just prefers Audi or maybe he's profiling.

You don't live in Europe... U dont need a European plate... I've never seen anyone in Europe with a US plate on their Ford...

Ohio requires front plates, seems like they are trying to get rid of that law, just searched google.

Friend in Iowa had a euro plate, officer told him to put his regular plate on the dash so its visable. A compromise i guess

Some german kid is taking a CA plate back there lol but that aside...don't expect not to be pulled over for having a euro plate on.

WTF does some hole in your bumper have to do with anything?

You have to pay to play, it might be cool to run no front plate, but don't bitch about it when you get caught - you don't have a front plate, so you deserve to get a ticket!

So... let's get this straight - you broke the law, you got a citation. Hole, carfax, deductible, seriously?? Whats the justification for a rant? If you really want to run Euro plates, then Europe is the place to be.

Not bitching, and I wouldn't have even put the dumb thing on there if the hole was covered up by the regular mount/plate. The euro plate is wide so it covers the hole. If I put the U.S. mount/plate it'll be off center. I might have to just replace the front bumper. Then it'll be fine. Anyone selling an AW e93 front bumper?

Should have clarified I don't care to run Euro plates. It wasn't what I began with originally, I had matching plates both front and back.
