New OEM Brake Pad Compound
Does anyone know if the 2010+ brake pad compound (less dusty) has been superseded to existing part numbers for older models? I'm looking at purchasing the Textar pads from AutoHaus AZ which are OEM - anyone go this route and get the new compound?

The latest BMW formula is somewhat lower dust but it would have been hard to
create any more than their previous formula. The have also improved the grabby brake feel that applied roughly 20% of full braking on initial apply and then not very linear and hard to modulate after that. The new BMW formula does allow for some modulation up to roughly 5-10% and then is grabby but less than previous version. It is still not very linear after that. Suggest that you consider the Cool Carbon formula that is very linear and easy to modulate from 0 all the way to ABS. Very rotor friendly, low dust and excellent torque and that will increase with heat . We run them here on our cars on the street and light track use. Also good time to jump in during our March sale https://www.europeanautosource.com/specials http://www.europeanautosource.com/ma...bonPerformance
