2012 DVD Nav (US) Updates Released

Am I doing something wrong here? No seeds on either torrent posted in this thread.

The only instructions i see is when it says insert navi dvd. Is that what you mean by instructions??

Yes... then after that it will ask you to turn off engine and wait for 5 minutes before you turn it back on again...

After i insert the new disc, it still says insert navi dvd. how long before it says turn off engine?

less then a min. You disk is not good. BMW not recognize your disk as a valid navigation disk.

Thanks. Yea i have no idea what i'm doing wrong when burning the DVD. i'm not sure what the right steps are to burn the maps.

Just did it with a memorex DVD+R disk and worked pretty well. Was very slow at first but might have been the system loading certain things onto it. After the initial slow period it worked pretty quickly. I used poweriso as my burning software.

Edit: Never asked me to turn off the engine, not sure why. But like I said, works great!

UPDATE: I still can't see my house. 2011 didnt have my streets listed and so far this one doesnt. I'm doing the reboot to see if it somehow appears.

I did the restart. Nothing seems to have changed.

I wonder how would one know if you're really getting an updated disk? My house was built Dec 2009, I've had navigation discs 2010, 2011, and now I just burnt the 2012 disk. All have never shown my neighborhood's street, but Google can.

someone please seed the Speed cam torrent posted earlier! stuck at around 53%! The links quoted above from hoxnet.com do not have the speed cams and police traps right?

It may be something in your side, I downloded both sets (no-cams and cams) yesterday. BTW I am seeding now myself. Have you managed to finish downloading them?

Thanks for seeding managed to finally download it! And thanks to the uploaders as well! DVD+ and -R TDK brand at 4x and 8x on mac using isoBurn!

Hey guys, I had previous success with the 2011 + speedcams torrent and then came across this 2012 thread. Previously I burnt on DVD-R TDK at 4x and all was good. This time I downloaded the 2012 + CAMS torrent and burnt at 8x on a TDK DVD+R and it doesn't work. Im going to try again at 4x and report back. Anyone else have confirmed success with the 2012 + CAms torrent just to be sure its not a bad iso?
