E90 lowered

Got my H&R race springs in and my boyfriend and I placed them on yesterday. I didn't go with coilovers because I do not track my car.

Before the "NEEDS SPACERS" people chime in, spacers are en route. I'll be rolling the fenders once the spacers get in.

Proper photoshoot to follow after spacer install, fender roll, and alignment.

What is that giant gaping hole in the fender in the pic with you in it?

Looks nice although I hate when people say they didn't go with coilovers because they don't track.

Thanks. That "hole" is not a hole. It's a magnetic holder for bolts. For those with coilovers, how often do they even adjust the ride height? Once they get the dampening setting adjusted and height dialed in, then most people leave them as is. I find the springs will suit my needs of being lowered.

I was a little thrown off when I read "boyfriend" but then I saw that you were a female lol
Anyways, your car looks good with the drop but have you driven the car yet? I did this same mod and couldn't stand how the car drove. You should look into getting a set of Koni yellow shocks/struts. Night and day difference. Enjoy the new ride height

Just FYI. Getting coil overs is just not about height adjustments but better shocks that suits the springs you install. Your ride quality will be firm and good for a few months depending on road conditions but after that, kiss your OEM shocks goodbye lol.

Anyways ride looks good! Clean!

Plus you can lower it to exactly where you want it instead of the standard 1" front .8" rear. Plus I'll be getting wider rear tires so I can raise my suspension up instead of having to buy all new springs.

Either way, your car looks great!

So far it feels firm. Handles better around corners. I'll update more after it gets aligned.

Thank you! True, but right now I'm satisfied with it. When the shocks go then they'll be changed. Plus we have 8 other cars to drive, so i dont think the shocks will go out anytime soon. Not a bad way to spend 150 bucks though on brand new springs

Thanks for the feedback. I won't be changing wheels and tires often, so I'll be ok for now.

What made you choose H&R Springs? I ended up buying the Eibach Sportline Springs and I just installed them on my 328i today.
