Sorry for the confusion....
That is an E46 M3 system. The other that I posted is E92 M3.

I didn't question the quality of Essienmann, I just said their over-priced. From the beginning I knew something was up with essienman, I saw the real E46 M3 muffler compared to the fake korean one. A dealer told me it was a different batch. Same price tag on both and they both sounded the same.
I'd invite you guys that say "Remus sucks" to read the following :
http://www.remusexhaustshop.com/why-remus-i-6.html

Now if you define "sucking" by simply not being loud, we are simply not your brand. However if you pride yourself in having the best engineered, most researched and developped product with a civilized proper sports car sound, then I would say we fit your criteria

It's interesting that Remus is using the more traditional construction methods on the system shown for the 335i. They use a rolled lock seam for the shell and rolled lock seams on the end plates.

I'm curious as to which grade 304 they have in their system. If it is a higher carbon plain vanilla 304 then the crimped construction could be better from an IGA point of view. However, the welds around the tips would still be susceptible to IGA.

I'm surprised to see that Eisenhaus still hasn't learnt after all that fiasco (I being one of their victims and I haven't received my check yet Eisenhaus). Still selling Eisenhaus fake stuff as branded Eisenmann exhausts...way to go.

What is IGA? I would be surprised if any exhaust manufacturer uses low carbon 304.

Dude I love remus. Just people here on e90post hating.
I knew Remus was always top notch quality. Essienman is way over priced.

One of the bests posts I have ever seen here. Loud doesn't = faster or better. Huge misconception amongst many car enthusiasts. If you wan't noise, any 80 dollar Fart can on Ebay will acheive that.

Correct there is no Eisenmann on the bottom. The Eisenmann logo is on the tips and the badge.

Exactly. 1.4301 is the european standard equivalent for 304. The low carbon variety mentioned by alan93rsa (304L) is 1.4306 (or 07) in euro.

Look at the bolts in the first pic posted....what a load of crap.

I challenge anyone who's actually seen a REAL Eisenmann muffler to call it cheap, because you simply can't. The construction is superb and the sound is borderline narcotic.

I had a total stranger (tourist) beep his horn at me and ask me what exhaust was on my car the other day.

So? Look at the quality? How come the ti, and the stainless one looks different in quality?
The Ti one looks like the fake korean mufflers essienhaus has been selling and the stainless one looks like essienman.

Dude for all you know, they could be bullshitting and stamping anything.

Thats why I have given up on Essienman. I'm sticking to alternatives...
all i said was one is stainless and the other is ti. I already knew something was fishy when the m3 guys had problems with the ti version cracking.
