E92 335i on the track at Donington
Thought you might like to see some pictures of an E92 in action round a track.
I attended the BMW Club track day at Donington a week ago last Monday. Apart from a new M3 in another group I was the only E9X on the track. Even with me driving the car held its own against a mixture of M3s, M5s and others, without getting anywhere near the limit. The car is still stock and the only preparation was to check the oil level and tire pressure. [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG] |

pics look awesome!!!
love MB 335's but then again im very biased When i when to the drag strip (twice) , i was the only E9x there also i would have thought you would easily hold your own and even pull past e46 m3's and just about stay with e39 m5's.. well done:rocks: Donnington Park is a wonderful track... if only the facilities were upto standard to hold the British Grand prix it would be awesome there:rocks: Carlos

Brands is epic. Used to be a member there when me and the wife lived in NW Kent. Used to go to see BTCC, TVR Tuscan Challenge, 911 Cup etc etc. Superb venue, so much better as a spectator than Silverstone. Would love to see any big race at Brands or Donny actually. Shame that Silverstone gets the glory.... |

Great pictures. Pro ones I assume, that you got on a CD? Did you have any 'moments' or sideways lariness or was it smooth all the way? How did you find learning the circuit? Did you have any instruction?

No instruction as such, one session with 5 of us following an experienced pace car to get an idea of the line. Things were very smoth and progressive, car is very well balanced and forgiving. |
