DIY: Engine to Radiator Hose

Vehicle: 2007 E92 335i
Mileages: 124,000

Got the Radiator low Quantity symbol today and after unlatching the hood I saw coolant leaking from coolant expansion tank valve on top of the most forward top hose that interconnects the radiator with the engine.

Very easy de-installation re-installation, Pull back on the quick release clips and pull out old hose, reverse installation on new hose, re set quick release clips, you are set to go.

There are 2 quick release clips on the front side of the hose
1 on the top and one small one from the bottom.
1 that attaches to the engine.
1 Small hose that attaches to the small valve on top of the hose

Part# 17127540127 Price $56.20

You realize that someone attempted to the repair of the original hose with that white hose bib piece. It looks like the original hose bib was broken off the original hose and was repaired and not replaced.

Thread revival!

How much coolant will come out once the hose is disconnected?

I need to do this this weekend and I don't want shit leaking everywhere.
