AR Design DP's

Hey all,

Has anyone bought the newest DP's with resonators? How about the catless ones? Are you able to pass inspection in MD? I'm not plated in MD yet, but I will be in the next few years so I'm wondering if I should go w/ cats b/c of that. Anyways, curious to know how the DP's sound catted, catless and catless w. res -- thanks a lot!

I'm going catless. You should have heard my car last weekend. With my tune I should be ok.

You will likely throw codes even with hi-flow catted. Mine (AR w/ hi-flow cats) initially passed inspection about 6 months after install without a simulator. By 1 year I was getting emissions codes and had to run a simulator to stop them.

If you are going for the most performance go catless and run a simulator, either stand alone or built into the tune of your choice.

Some people don't like the catless rasp, or the possibility of little puffs of smoke that the cats would burn up.

AR quality is great. You can't go wrong. I love the sound of mine with the AE exhaust.

I'm curious to hear your setup with the AE exhaust. I currently have the AR catless and looking to upgrade my exhaust in the near future.

AR catless with AMS exhaust here. I'm registered in ND so I can't comment on emissions inspections, but for dash lights I use my tune to clear them. Love the sound and performance.

I run catless with AE exhaust. No codes with DP fix.
