It's insane how much HP is lost. 354 to the wheels is still sick.
Any idea how much of the actual torque hits the wheels? What LSD are you running? |

535d is coming. Likely not with the 318hp the Euro N57s have, but more than the 335ds have here.

This 535d engine cited by the OP would be seriously scary to drive in the 335d, at least at my skill level. I would need about a year more of skidpad practice.

It's the same engine as 335d have. Same turbos, I believe there was something about the new turbos in the video

Tiago,
Just curious what turbo's you were using here or what was done to the stock ones to flow this much? Can you share some extra info? Also, it sounds like you no longer have a DPF or CAT, but still something of a muffler, can you verify? |

We should be capable of performing this in the states. The only thing really holding us back is the ECU. If someone is able to unlock the ECU for tuning, I'm sure we can squeeze a lot of power from the 335d engine if we added an aftermarket turbo, IC, bigger injectors, get rid of the damn emissions systems and do a straight pipe from the downpipe.

Amigos I have been in close contact with RENNtech like Lenny @ RENNtech and sohcpunk state the ONLY issue here is that our ECu's are ENCRYPTED unlike the Europrean models unless SOMEONE can get it UNENCRYPTED, the only way to MOD the ECU is via bench flashing, the day we can use to download thru OBDII might never come!!!
TIAGO what a MONSTER you have in hand!!!

Oi Tiago, how's the reliability so far on this? Any issues so far? How is the tranny supposed to hold the 840nm of torque when it's rated at 700nm (if I'm not mistaken)?
How long did the full install take? I just came back from 2 weeks in Portugal, and I'm going back next year same time, and my warranty will have run out. I'm hesitating between extending it, or just going silly crazy on mods like this Obrigado! |

Still strong without any issues and it is my dd. Just the turbos at their shop should take 3-4 days with all parts in house. The ecu should be pretty quick because the software development was already made with my car - 2 hours flash with dyno.
You will be amaze with the quality of sports cars that will be able to outperform in straight line. |

Thanks. Now with all the carbon deposits into the inteire exhaust system and mufflers wear during this time, it lost some metallic sound and become more quiet at idle and deeper while crusing.
Just to give you a idea, it outperformed the latest MB S63 AMG in a top speed run. The S63 was delimited and even so i could pull away from him above 180mph. 155mph means 3800rpm, 186mph means 4300rpm and it makes easy 4500rpm... not bad for a full weight wagon with roof rails. |

Am I ? The LCI version of the E6X 535d didn't come with the 6HP28 tranny just like the LCI version of the 335d did?
I read somewhere that the former 6HP26 was rated at 600nm, but the 6HP28 is rated at 700nm. In any case, that only makes my question more pertinent. I'm very eager to do this, but would like the car to survive more than a couple of years :-) |

I wish these European charts would show actual wheel hp/tq numbers instead of the wand waving flywheel numbers. I would bet dollars to donuts that the 20% correction is way off, we aren't talking about powerglide transmissions full of overweight internals anymore. Based on the "correction" used for hp the wheel tq must be 500ish which is ridiculously awesome. There's no reason this can't be done in a us spec car with bench flashing, and apparently the transmission can hold it without any issue. How big of an issue is traction?
