Hi!

I have the "Power Window Anti-Trap Function" error. It pops up every 20 seconds or so.

I don't need to reinitialize my windows because they are all working properly (one touch open, one touch close for all four windows, regardless of controlling from driver or from actual seating position).

I was wondering if anyone could kindly point me in the right direction.

I thought the FRM might be controlling the windows (wild guess...I'm not very knowledgeable) so I recoded it with NCSExpert in Expert mode.

Instead I undid my LCI Retrofit and Angel Eye Coding so I had to look all those values up again

Kindly help me out






Through further research I've discovered there is a SIB for this, but I'm afraid of going to the dealership since I have CIC retrofit and they can't really program my car . Of course I can take it all apart and put the CCC back in there but that is an absolute last resort...

SI-B51-15-08 written July/2008 ...this bulletin addresses a False Anti-Trap Activation on the rear power windows.

BTW does anyone have access to that SIB so I can take a look?

You just substitute the red part with the SIB Number and wala! You had access.

It doesn't seem to work anymore so I was just asking if people knew a different method.

Oh yea I wanted to check out what they said the attached fix was in the bulletin to see if they speak about something we can code.

You might have to use winkfp to update your FRM module (if a latest software is available for your car)
