Brake/tire setup for track

Thinking of getting either Pagid or Endless race/track pads. Quite expensive though. I\'m gonna use the stock rotors as I heard great results if brake fluid upgraded and stainless steal brake lines are used.

I\'m also gonna use my yokohoma advan neova ad08 tires.

Any thoughts on this setup? Any recommendations from experience?

Stock rotors are not the best choice for cooling capacity but they'll survive. Can't comment on your pad choices but I can vouch for Hawk (dtc70) and PFC (01). Racing brake fluid and SS lines are good choices.

I can vouch for PFC 01's, haven't used hawks. I'm using Motul 600 fluid and stoptech ss brake lines.

What about this setup? Is is worth buying?

Those will work well. AD08s are a pretty good tire. I prefer the RS3s over AD08s. Cheaper too.

I'd do some research on those pads. "street performance" tells me that these pads are not meant for track duty, and will fade if pushed hard. Call up stoptech and find out if these pads can take track use. And I also doubt the "posi-quiet" pads will hold up in track situations.

Your post title says you want these "for track", so make sure you get the right parts for the right job.
