Late Winter Exterior Changes w/ Pics - 2011 M-Sport Coupe
Hello! I purchased my second 335i in late January. The vehicle is a 2011 335i M-Sport xDrive Coupe in Le-Mans Blue. I loved my old 2007 335i (RWD) but I switched jobs and am no longer able to work from home during inclement weather, so the wife wanted me to buy something AWD. I test drove the Audi S5 and while it is beautiful I just wasn't sold on it so I stuck with what I knew and got another 335i in xDrive.
I purchased the vehicle bone stock and over the past few months I have done a few minor exterior modifications which I wanted to share. I am planning to get some 19in matte black wheels this spring and after that I think I will be done with the exterior and on to performance modifications. The thing I hated most was how high the xDrive sat and thanks to Adam (Clem) I got that taken care of yesterday About two weeks ago I washed, clayed, used PS21 Paint Cleanser, and used Chemical Guys 50/50 wax. However, I took the pictures with my phone so the shine really doesn't come through in the pictures. Completed since February: - 35% Tint - Exotics Tuning e92 Programme Carbon Fiber Lip - JL Motoring Carbon Fiber Diffuser - Carbon Fiber Grills - M3 Spoiler - BMWCCA Badge - Painted Side Reflectors - Eibach Springs - Bilstein B8 Shocks

Oh wow, your car is beautiful! Yeah, matte black rims will make it even better! Nice work!

Nice car, loving that lip. Only thing that is an eye sore is the USA emblem on the grille.

Thanks all !!!
It's not bad - could be a bit better but it isn't terrible. I was hesitant of buying it due to what I have heard about JL products...but it turned out to be a decent diffuser. With a little sanding and filling it would fit real nice...I plan to do that sometime this spring. |

Ha Thanks !! Regarding the emblem I had a blue/white one on my old 335... but the one on this car (red/white/blue) was a special edition from the BMW CCA raffle so I put it on. I actually was born in Holland and spent most of my early childhood in England so it does conflit with my heritage

That's cool that you won that, does it say BMW or anything like that on it? I can't tell from the pic.

It says "BMW CCA" through the middle in bold letters.
I didn't win it - but if you purchased 10 raffle tickets last year for the yearly BMW CCA car raffle you got this badge which was made just for the raffle. You couldn't actually purchase this from BMW CCA . I like it cause the colors match the other M-Sport items |
