To my surprise I noticed that both of the rear tyres were bald after only 12,500 miles! The car is equipped with Bridgestone Potenza 225/45 R17 91W tyres and I have been scrupulous in ensuring the pressures are checked every few weeks. The car is driven conservatively and not run at high speed. This seems a very low mileage to be replacing the tyres or are run flats just very expensive to use?
