At times, when a challenge is posted the OP gives a link of what they want exact to make it more clear, then there are no loopholes.

Due to safety concerns I parked on the shoulder of the road and not on the road. Nice looking roads we in NYS get to drive on too, my tax dollars not hard at work....

take the same shot but walk all the way to the end of that road, so we can see the straight going behind the car as well.. like this the straight doesn't look very long.. I have faith you!!

I like yours better DL. I actually went out last nite to shoot on the I90 bridge between Mercer Island and Seattle downtown - it's a 1 1/2 mile straight that leads into a tunnel:

Unfortunately, at 2am, there was a WA State patrol car on the onramp (couldn't stop like I had originally planned) and ALL of the bridge lights were turned off (save help save the budget?), so the shot would not have looked with a bunch of black nothing. To top it off, there were NO cars on the bridge besides myself - my lights aren't that bright.

So I drove into Seattle and stopped in front of the Oberto factory on Ranier. It's a very long stretch, but I like your pic much better.

Even on the drive back home over the bridge (with a few cars) still couldn't see much.

Next challenge please bro!

I would have to find a different location as the police are not to happy with people that park on the highway.

Yeah ... shots like that are usually taken in the middle of nowhere in rural Alabama and/or Montana and stuff. There's no way you can take a shot like that in an area that's actually, well, INHABITED. :P
