Which Wheel do You Like Better?

Everyone on here has lots of opinions, so fire away...

Which wheel do you like better?

Setup #1: DPE ST7
Setup #2: HRE 840R

I recently upgraded to a four corner BBK and the DPE's required at least a 3mm spacer in the rear to clear. Since I wanted to run hubcentric, I pushed it to 10mm. Well, that rubs on big dips on the road with my 275's.

The HRE's are ok, but not quite aggressive enough in terms of lip for front/rear. However, they clear my BBK with no spacers. No rub, but sacrificing tire width at 265. Could swap the tires though.

I have no desire to lower my car (sorry gap haters) and I prefer not to run spacers. What do you guys think?

I think they both look good. Due to being close call, I'd run the one that doesn't need spacers.

Neither, but DPEs look nicer. Just roll your fenders...

On the HRE's, one front wheel has some clear coat damage and the lip needs to be repolished.

If it has to go back to HRE, maybe swap out the lips for a more aggressive set up too? Two birds, one stone?

Or like some others posted, what other choice of wheel? I will not roll my fenders, so how aggressive of a lip/offset should I go?

I like the DPE's since they look a bit more unique in comparison. However, the finish on the HRE's look so much better. :twocents:

With your setup, I would go with a set of Gunmetal colored wheels. Maybe a set of Gunmetal Forgestar F14's?
