diverter valve/ charge pipe ?

So i have done may searches and cant seem to figure out why my DV valve wont seat into my charge pipe. I hear it click and when i pull on it it doesn't come out but on the highway at about 15psi it pops out. Ive tried re-seating it several times turning the clip counterclockwise and also cleaning the oil from both ends. So my ? is how do i know if i need to get forged DVs or if i can replace the grey turn clip on the charge pipe, or the charge pipe as a whole. additional details: JB4, Dci's, secondary cats removed, just instilled a boost gauge. I took this picture off another thread but this is what it looks like, (please let me know if you would like picture removed)

Thanks guys

Did you try turning it to the lock position before sliding the DV back in?

You can just get an ER charge pipe with the stock DV configuration and re-use your stock DVs as teh mounting system on the ER pipe uses small silicone couplers and clamps, so no chance of the DVs coming off.

Also, are you sure its actually locking into place?

BMS has a CP available now, check their site. Inexpensive and looks good. I've got the ER, flawless but it is ridiculously expensive for a simple pipe.

Upgrade your CP -- ER or BMS both sell CPs with the DV option (Forge or OEM). I'd recommend the BMS (and I have the ER) because the DV connection terminals are straight up like the OEM design & you won't have any headaches with the install + DV alignment. The ER CP has a tilt in the 2nd DV location & it was a royal PITA to get everything to line up properly.

The ER is design this way to ensure fitment with almost all aftermarket intake systems. Its done for a reason

The ER pipe also starts at under 225.00 so its a pretty good bargain if you are just after a reliable CP to run with your stock DVs.
