OSS are great, but I got brand new housings for the same price as the OSS upgrade. Call me crazy but I think they may be brighter as well. The pictures were taken by an iphone...

Just bought a car with OSS headlights. They do look obviously aftermarket which I personally prefer on a modded car. On a stock car, it may look a little eBay-ish. In general, I like the look of custom headlights though, on my Infiniti, I'm trying to finish a quad projector setup.

That would be one of the god fathers of Xenon Retrofits - Caesar at LightWerkz.Net .

He will be doing mine this spring and can't wait. Here is a shot of his clear lens mod which will also be getting done. The picture below is on his E92 M3

I didn't know there were two companies that did retrofits in New Jersey, I guess you have two to choose from. All I can say is that I have had a couple done through LightWerkz and they do excellent work. Caesar can be really personable and I recommend at least stopping by to check out the shop and some of his work, especially if you're local. I'm on the other side of the country, so it's a long journey for my headlights.

I'll have to check with Caesar, but I think Jay used to work for LightWerkz.

Yea I just had OSS do my headlights although I should have checked out LightWerkz. I did email LightModz but what they wanted to do E90 headlights was absurd so I assume lightwerkz would have been as expensive. Either way i'm happy I went with OSS cause Luis was great to deal with

Well the only reason is because Caesar insisted and I would like to get him on board with the BMW guys as he has done a lot of the older models and is now digging into the E92/93 stuff. He can do more than just paint, clear, and angel eyes. Upgrading the projector is what I enjoy most, but what OSS does is beautiful. I am a HUGE XENON headlight/projector buff, I love them.

But Luis does some great work and if Caesar did not insist, I would be going through him as well. I'm sure he is a pleasure to work with.

What's the easiest way to tell if your lights have resealable housings or if they're just rubber sealed?
