I guess I'll find out how that goes

IMO I would paint it in black just for preventing rust. As others say, the stock caliper is too ugly even though you paint it. Also it will fade over time especially on the track. The paint will peel off gradually.

I'm SURE this differs dealer to dealer. Some SA's have more common sense and realize that a little paint (if done properly) has zero effect on the life/performance of braking components.

That looks amazing! Awesome work, I painted mine red on space gray, but that yellow on white is outstanding.

I had done this to my E46 and never had a problem with fading or peeling. I just need it to last 2.5 yrs lol

I did it myself. If there is any advice I can give, get an extra small paint brush to get the little tight spots. Much easier to deal with that way.

I agree. Plus I barely did the inside of it.

Red is nice too. I prob would have gone for red if I hadn't seen that Ferrari pic lol....Then again, check the yellow on gray. Sick!

Looks good.

I am most likely going to test the fake brake covers out. http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Front-Rear...ht_4299wt_1163

I dislike the brembo logo since I am not trying to be a poser....I am going to have them powdercoated some unique color.
